Adjacent to the Battisti Hall, a grove of flowering cherry trees surrounds and protects a strip of lawn designed in the shape of an oak leaf. A travertine column with a square base, placed on the ground, like a milestone, bears the title of the song by Mogol and Battisti: I GIARDINI DI MARZO.
This small garden is a symbolic place of strength and precariousness; it is the impermanence of the thrilling blossoms of the Japanese cherry trees and the solidity of the column resting on the lawn, the only element standing still in time. A carpet of pine bark plays an essential role in the relationship of colours.
